Open Auditions for: Italian Art Song Study Intensive
For Middle and High School Singers, Grades 7-12
This 4-week, 4-class intensive is designed for young singers who are preparing for solo competitions, college auditions, NATS, and juries. Students will learn three Italian art songs and one English art song from the standard repertoire, developing essential vocal technique and performance skills along the way.
Students will be selected ensure everyone is matched with students of equal skill.
Program Details:
Duration: 4 weeks (1 class per week)
Class Length: 2.5 hours per class (with one 10 minute break)
Class Size: Maximum 8 singers per class
Format: In-person, with an online option via FarPlay.io
What Students Will Learn:
Level 1 Vocal Technique
Italian and English Diction
Song Segmentation Technique
Interpretation and Performance Skills
Schedule & Cost:
$50 fully refundable deposit required at checkout. (Applied towards tuition if you are selected)
Tuition: $350
Session Options:
Session A: Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (April 2, 9, 16, 30 - No Class Easter Week)
Session B: Saturdays, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (April 5, 12, 19, May 3 - No Class Easter Week)
Both sessions are identical.
This is a wonderful opportunity for young singers to strengthen their technique, build their repertoire, and gain confidence in a supportive, small-group setting.
